Loved the visit here. Beautiful location. Very picturesque Victorian gardens. Really nice tea rooms. Definitely worth a visit. You could spend a few hours easily on a nice day.

Kylemore is a very enjoyable visit. Don’t miss the walled gardens which are gorgeous. In fact, biggest comment is to make sure you plan enough time to see all there is to see: the Abbey, the church, and the gardens. There is a shuttle to the gardens, but it is also walkable if you want to take the extra time. Beautiful drive there as well. Also, both restaurants offer really great food. All-around great service.

This place is amazing! If you are a person of faith you simply can't do this place in 3 hours, so give yourself time to take it all in. Mass, prayer time in the beautiful Gothic church with evening vespers with the sisters. Taking a tour to learn about the history of the beautiful estate and grounds. A great meal- it closes before 5, and tea with dessert at the Tea room close to the gardens. Walking the whole property. The only thing bad about this trip is that I didn't leave enough time there before they closed for the day. My daughter who is 23 said it was her favorite part of our whole 14 days in Ireland. And believe me we did it ALL!!! Don't miss this place!!!

Lovely place to visit and get an idea in the history which it is steeped.
Recommend to see for sure. Cafe is a welcome break and very reasonable and has a varied menu.

Spoke with the bus that brings you to another area of the gardens etc. Very nice guy and well able for the banter.

Beautiful grounds and an absolute joy to explore!! The inside of the castle is just ok as they only allow you in a select few rooms, but it is still pretty cool to read the history. The walk down to the church is beautiful and we opted to walk to the gardens instead of taking the bus since it was a nice day. Stunning views and incredible landscape! I am definitely happy we visited!

Beautifully maintained and a wonderful place to sit and relax. The garden wasn't in bloom. But the spring air and sunshine made the garden come alive. Shame the coffee shop was shut.
