  Came in here with my son who is 5 years old. Hes been asking for a guitar for Christmas all year. Went downstairs to the drum department for a browse with him and was approached by a staff member, I thought great he's gonna ask do we need help which I did. Instead he tells me "make sure he (my son) doesn't touch those V-Drums" and walks off. Okay son let's get out of here. Will not be returning here anytime soon for help.

  Musicmaker is one of 9 City Centre stores in Dublin selling musical instruments and it’s probably one of the best ones. They have a reasonable range of Fender electric guitars on the Ground Floor but little else, unless you’re looking for a broad range of guitar strings.
  
  In the basement are a selection of acoustic drum kits, with a token digital kit, and the only part of the store with a member of staff who understands the importance of greeting a customer!
  
  On the top floor were 5 digital pianos so it’d be difficult describing this as a piano dept.
  
  Alongside this was the acoustic guitar room, nice but empty (see photo).
